The earth is a wonderful place to live and to explore. It has many life-sustaining features and is constantly changing / appearing. A few scientists and geologists have explored the Earth and other planets. Here we have compiled a list of interesting facts about the Earth that will help you learn more about our mother planet.

1. Earth is the third planet from the Sun and is the largest of the four planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars (Order of planets from the Sun: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto ( small planet))).

2. The presence of water in the liquid phase on Earth is due to the ambient temperature of the Earth: 0 - 100 degrees Celsius. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius, thus converting it to gas and making it unusable for living organisms including humans, animals, and birds, etc.

3. Earth is the only place in the solar system where water can be found in all three states - solids, liquids and gases.

4. We all orbit the Sun at an average speed of 107,182 kilometers per hour. And at the same time, we are also moving very fast - about 1000 miles an hour depending on where you are on Earth.
